All About us

I am a husband, father, brother, son, family man and friend to many. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and an educator. The term Doctor is derived from Latin meaning to teach. It’s been a large part of my passion to study life and what factors are involved to live optimally. This is far different than our current health paradigm of studying disease and what factors are involved in death. To teach, experience and explore the topics of optimal living in our current society brings me great joy.

My wife is a mother, homemaker, an artist, and a wealth of knowledge, especially pertaining to the well being of our kids. She has spent countless hours awake at night researching how to raise these little humans so that we may grow them into responsible, well rounded, happy, healthy, functioning members of society. 

The Roots of my Wellness Journey

We have been blessed with two kids who have made the realization to us, that our best work starts at home. Our wellness journey started early in our lives while looking for a deeper understanding of our bodies, both with nutrition and exercise as it relates to aesthetics and fitness. Opening up a practice and positioning myself as a community health expert, all while adding more members to our family, only added to the need to understand more about ourselves and the people we connect with every day. The focus soon switched from fitness to well-being. The search for true health and well-being can be very tough to navigate as the world is riddled with tons of fads and hype. No two people have the same needs and wants, but there are some human well-being essentials that we can all agree on. So this blog is written for myself, my wife, my kids, many of my patients and just maybe someone else in the world who needs to hear some of this.

The Essentials to your Well-Being

In our experience, we have been overwhelmed by trying to live a “perfect” life. We have found that the internet is littered with tons of hype and fear-mongering. From A to Z there is always a new health craze in search of the perfect body. We realize that these expectations on us only sabotage our efforts, so instead, we will continue to try and live life optimally making One Adjustment at a time. We created the Innate Essentials to help us stay on track with what our body REALLY needs most to live up to its full potential. This strategy much like investing allows us to exponentially grow with decreased risk for our future well-being. One by one, we can add in some nonessential ideas to enhance our individual potential, but only after we have the Innate Essentials down. 

Using a combination of knowledge and routine care we can find our optimal well being… all in time. Our bodies all have certain basic needs in order to function optimally. This blog will be dedicated to exploring these first and then more individually. I like to make mention that while these Innate Essentials are true for all of us, some of the other topics discussed here may not be. We must master the Essentials first before we begin experimenting individually.  We will be exploring routines and habits to help you live more congruent with your genome. So when you are doing the well-being juggle and you drop a ball, just pick it back up or get a new one if needed.
